Almex USA is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer for its Southern California office. Almex is a suppler of specialized technology and equipment to the global aluminum industry.

Responsibilities
Research and Development in Molten Metal Treatment and DC Casting
Casting Process Design
New Product Development
Field Technical Service Support
Start-up support

Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science
Knowledge of Aluminum DC Billet and Sheet Ingot Casting Processes – minimum 5 years experience
Familiar and capable with Design of Experiments
Must be able and willing to work the full range from theoretical to practical (hands-on)
Self starter comfortable working with minimum supervision
Willing to travel – domestic and international
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent analytical and communications skills
