Aerospace Alloys R & D Cast House:

For alloy development work, ALMEX has designed a dedicated R & D casthouse where very small production runs of 1.5 mt per cast can be undertaken.

The R & D facility is a micro version of full fledge casthouse complete with tilting melting furnace, LARS™ purification system, CFF Filtration, Excel™ D. C. Casting Systems with CASTRIGHT II™ automation.

The facility is located in Anaheim, California and work carried out so far consists of development of new chemical compositions for several aerospace applications.
